I went to my first bar while in Florida, and it's not what you would expect. We went for a walk around the park in Downtown Florida, and as we went to leave, my eyes got caught by the faintest purple light coming from behind some trees. Naturally, I was intrigued, so we started walking towards the corner where the light was shining.
As we got closer, we realized it was nothing more than a patio with collected furniture and a medium-sized bar. They didn't even have walls, just deck banisters and an opening on the side where you could walk in. We were absolutely and entirely intrigued by this place. They only served beers and wine, no mixed drinks, but I think this allowed the bartender to engage and have full conversations with the bar's, maybe 10, people.
The entire setup made for a very relaxing evening. The breeze was blowing, the bar had Jenga and a few other games you could play while socializing, and the rest of the patrons in the bar were there to relax and socialize too. There weren't any stupidly drunk individuals or guys trying to hit on my friends. It was just an enjoyable and straightforward park-side bar, which is something my friends and I had never seen before.
Thank you, B Nice Orlando, for being the unplanned best part of our night!
